We gain knowledge in various ways including from books, journals, magazines, workshops, and through experience.  While knowledge gained by experience is more lasting and permanent compared to knowledge gained by other means, books written by seasoned professionals often provide invaluable insights and instruction on technique and best practices.

So while experience is paramount keep in mind (as Will Rogers' once said) "the trouble with using experience as your guide is that sometimes the final exam comes first, then the lesson".

Following is a sampling of titles from my library you may find helpful on your own path to knowledge.
